Advanced Industrial Gigabit Ethernet Media Converter with PoE options
We have completely redesigned our Media Converters family, updating the design and applying everything we have learned after more than 15 years on the market with our previous range. This new model was created with two objectives in mind: to adapt to any installation, whether due to environmental conditions or the electronics with which it must be integrated; and to facilitate the installer's work, speeding up commissioning and maintenance. The result is a versatile, robust, and easy-to-install device, ready for today and for the future.
PoE features
The new range of Media Converters includes four models with the following features.
IEEE 802.3at (PoE+, Type 2): up to 30 W
IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++, Type 3): up to 60 W
IEEE 802.3bt (PoE++, Type 4): up to 90 W
Without PoE
Advanced Options
Adapt the Media Converter to each scenario without surprises. Using two front switches, you can set the device's behavior to ensure compatibility and facilitate field maintenance.
Fiber speed selection: force the optical port to 100FX or 1000FX to match legacy equipment or mixed links and avoid mismatches.
LFP (Link Fault Pass-through): Enable link fault propagation between copper and fiber to accelerate switch detection and failover; or disable it when you need to maintain the link during service tasks.
New mechanical solutionfrom ADILEC.It can be mounted in a 19" rack using the DINR accessory, maintaining the philosophy of the old PAWAL, and can also be mounted on a DIN rail or surface.
We have two new power supplies, one simple (PAW1R) and one redundant (PAW2R), which allow several devices to be powered via the rear PAWDIN connectors.
Power supplies
Ready for any field scenario with a design focused on service continuity.
Dual DC input (12–52 V): connect two independent sources for redundancy and greater service robustness.
PAWDIN rear connector: Allows multiple devices to be daisy-chained from a PAW1R or PAW2R source.
